A CENTURY OF EXPERIENCE
We believe experience does build better walls
AE Conrad Company, since 1927

Aaron and Anna build a company
Aaron Edward Conrad started as a lather, at age 16, and built the company from the ground up, incorporating AE Conrad Company in 1927 (along with wife Anna). Aaron applied solid work ethic and integrity as the foundation of AE Conrad. These core values are what we base our business on to this day.

Succession in Leadership
As business grew, Aaron Earl (Bud) stepped in after serving in the Navy during WW2 and receiving a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. Bud oversaw the lath and plastering performed at Mayo Clinic's St. Mary Hospital, among many other signature projects. He'd soon make a great hire by convincing Dave Hamilton to join ranks. Dave went on to commandeer the company through good times and bad (including the Great Recession). In all, AE Conrad Company has endured 15 U.S. recessions, all of which lead to increased operational understanding. In 2010, Dave sold the company to Sean Conrad who had been serving as an estimator and project manager since 1997.

Current Management
After working his way through college as a truck driver, tender, and plasterer, Sean developed a strong interest in the building industry. Sean learned the power of teamwork through his college athletic experience while playing for college football's all-time winningest coach (John Gagliardi) as well as sharing a locker room with NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner. Wanting to learn and work with his grandfather made it an easy decision to start his office job upon graduating college. Today Sean has assembled a corporate leadership group with talent and expertise, and most importantly, embodying the work ethic and integrity the company was built on.

AE Conrad owes its success and longevity to its main source of mastership, THE FIELD. The hard working craftspeople who combine expertise and determination to the walls and ceilings we build.
